Independent music. Open possibilities.

Human
spark.
No limits.

Every song starts with a person.
We use AI to take it somewhere new.

01 / The artists

Two artists.
Different frequencies.

Distinct voices. Their own worlds.
A shared belief that a good song is only the beginning.

02 / How the music happens

A human beginning.
A bigger possibility.

Every song we produce starts as a recording made by a human. AI becomes part of the process after that first musical idea is played or sung.

01

First, someone makes music.

A few piano chords and a hummed melody. A rough demo. A fully written song. However it begins, a person records it before AI enters the picture.

02

Then, the sound opens up.

AI helps develop and produce that recording, opening up possibilities in arrangement, instrumentation and vocal performance.

03

The song finds its shape.

Creative choices connect the original idea to the finished production. The sound can change dramatically. The human starting point remains part of its story.

Human composition → Human recording → AI development & production

03 / The project

Curiosity sounds
good on us.

The No Spoon Project is an independent music label built around human composers and the creative possibilities of artificial intelligence.

This is the official website of The No Spoon Project, home to Ruby Rowan and Randy Russell.

We use AI openly and boldly to develop and produce music. At the center of every track is something a person first played, sang and recorded.

Our name nods to The Matrix and the idea of questioning a limit. Our music follows that same curiosity: what else could this song become?
